China reopens Torugart and Irkeshtam border crossings
While the Irkeshtam border crossing was already open a few days ago, the Torugart border pass is now also open to tourists.
The Irkeshtam Pass connects the Chinese city of Kashgar with the city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan. The Torugart Pass, located south of Kashgar, which connects the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek, is open to tourists on the condition that the crossing is organised by certified tour operators.
